At our meeting on 20 March, historian Tony Kirby gave us a fascinating presentation on the history of the railways in and around Cambridge. Did you know that in 1851 Cherry Hinton had its own railway station? It appears only to have been in use for about 3 years, as Cherry Hinton was then just a rural backwater.
If you missed this talk, don’t miss our next meeting on 15 May.
