Installation of the Pond Dipping platform has been arranged and is likely to commence later next week or week beginning 1st November. It will be installed in the location agreed, as on the master plan which will achieve the objective of the platform being primarily used as an education resource and not for day of day wildfowl feeding.
It will cause relatively little disruption to surrounding vegetation other than taking a section of fence out (permanently) to access the platform and a small section of Hawthorn hedge fronting the fence.
In essence this is the first, real part of the masterplan delivery, albeit a small piece of the jigsaw!
