The snowfall in January brought some scenic changes to Cherry Hinton Hall park for a few days. Changes to the landscaping of the park were also begun in 2012, with the removal of some hedges, particularly around the former plant propagation yard, bringing more grassed areas into the park. This view across Cherry Hinton Brook would have been blocked by a hedge a year ago.
The planting of trees, bulbs and meadow is planned in the newly opened areas, in accordance with the Master Plan that has been approved by the City Council.
