New paths

Anthony French, Open Space Officer – Horticulture, Cambridge City Council, has written to the Friends on 27 March to tell us:

Following on from our discussion at the November meeting, I am pleased to advise that the new pathway route across the centre of the park and the new route along the Daws Lane fence line will be constructed soon.

This work will utilise the last part of the 1st phase money allocated to the Master Plan.

AT Bone contractors will be on site next week (immediately after Easter) to start the works. There should only be minor disruption to park users during the construction period.
