On 28 February, Friends of Cherry Hinton Hall Committee Members Ian Simmons, Sandra Day and David Taylor, met with City Council representatives Elaine Midgely from the Arts and Recreation Dept (responsible for the Folk Festival organisation) and Anthony French who is our point of liaison for all things to do with the park. At the February meeting Ian, Sandra and David presented a document outlining our concerns about gradual Folk Festival encroachment, and how this should be addressed.
Committee members have agreed to meet with council officers again on Thursday 11 April, and we wondered if FCHH members could let us know beforehand if they are happy with the position so far adopted? A copy of the document can be found by clicking HERE.
